NEW! Listen to NYA's Sponsored Radio Feature
As part of Know It's Yogurt Month 2006, the National Yogurt Association has released a one-minute Sponsored Radio Feature. This radio segment promotes the importance of modernizing the government's standard of identity for yogurt.
In August 2004, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a report by Oskar Adolfsson, Simin Nikbin Meydani and Robert M. Russell of the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts. The report, titled “Yogurt and Gut Function,” noted the importance of live and active cultures in yogurt.
